THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR NIGERIAN WOMEN

It is a vice employed by various bodies to equip women on a large scale, it is a necessity by all means. And it should be addressed with all seriousness.

Nigerian women are far behind in the application of IT in their daily lives and endeavor’s more women should be better enlightened. For any woman to function effectively in her immediate environment and beyond, she needs to be equipped with this tool. Otherwise she would be frustrated eventually. Like the saying goes DO WHAT U KNOW OR U GIVE WHAT U AVE.

She would experience shortcomings in impacting and contributing to her immediate environment, and as we all know she is able if only being given the opportunity to perform. But in the case where she’s been given the opportunity, she is unable to deliver.

In conclusion, the Nigerian woman should be given the opportunity to stand shoulder high with fellow women beyond her environment e.g. women in the western world.

i learnt once again that there is more to life than what i had envisage,to start with i had always being reluctant about getting myself intuned with IT,ICT,and various information tools as relating to technology.i always felt,afterall i can't learn everything,know everything so to say.otherwise,i wuld become JACK OF ALL TRADE and MASTER OF NONE.i became comfortable with what i feel or think i need,on the other hand my immediate environment is ALWAYS ON THE ON MOVE.so like the saying goes 'u either beat them or join them',stating the ovious i can't beat them so i join them.
so far at the w-tec young women's programme,i ave learnt the art of computer application,which is the foundation to the programme itself.after which proceeding with every other event during the course of the programme no longer posed a threat.to further buttress my point,the environment was warmly received by most participant if i may speak for my colleagues.inrespective of various challenges individuals were comfronted with,we always looked forward to the next class.
i also learnt the application of various keys on the console,a lot on photography e.gvarious angles that should be put into consideration when taking a picture.talk of the vanishing point and vocal point also the size of the room e.g above eye level,eye level and below eye level.we also learnt about playing with the backgrounds of the photogragh taken and necessary adjustment that might come into play afterwards.
then i learnt about what a blog is and how it can effectively be applied as a tool to empower women.in the process,i created my blog account,published and posted.we were encouraged during the course of the training to do as many posting as possible.and to visit other blogging site,i could air my opinion and view others by visiting these various site.
i learnt about the use slideshow and youtube to download videos,but not to forget i also had to create an account with this site so as to access them when need be.
